As a couple of traditional herbal pharmacists, we started from a small alley in front of Kyunghee University and now operate Baragi in Cheongdam-dong.

Maximum Purified Ingredients That Can Be Added to Candy

It would be ideal to fully load candy with purified ingredients that are good for the body, but then it becomes difficult to form the candy properly.

Therefore, most products adjust the purified ingredient content to around 2%.

After numerous tests and persuading factory officials, we included the maximum content of 4%—the highest amount that can be formed into candy.

We filled the candy with a concentrated extract of effective ingredients that can be added to candy, making it even healthier.

Baragi Platycodon Candy uses a specially extracted Platycodon concentrate with high saponin content through a unique extraction technology.

This is Platycodin D extracted from balloon flower root developed using a patented method in collaboration with Kyung Hee University.

Analysis of the Platycodin D content showed that it is approximately four times higher at 4.12±0.31 mg/g than the standard content of Platycodin D 1 mg/g as indicated in the Chinese Pharmacopoeia for balloon flower.
