Precautions
Washing Method
Use neutral detergent with sponge for washing. Detergent fragrance is unlikely to remain in silicone utensils, so fragrance-free detergents are recommended.
Odor Removal Method
Use the following solution to wash silicone; then dry in sunlight to remove any odor residue.
STEP 1: Soak silicone in solution for over 4 hours.
- Making the solution: 3 options to use for washing silicone product
- 1) Vinegar : Water = 1 : 1
- 2) Sugar Water : Water = 1 : 2
- 3) Rice Water
STEP 2: Rinse with fresh water and dry in sunlight for 4 hours.
Disinfection Method
Boil water and put the product (if silicone) in it; disinfect within 3 minutes. Dry with a dry cloth or hang to dry. This can be used hygienically.
