A sediment filter is a high-density polypropylene filter made with a 5μm (micrometer) or less pore size. It excellently removes complex particles such as rust, dust, and sand. It has NSF certification as a water purification filter.

What is NSF Certification?

NSF certification is the most authoritative water-related certification mark issued by the U.S. Public Health Association (an international organization). It assesses compliance with water product regulations and sanitation standards and represents product safety and performance through the NSF mark.

Filter Color Change During Use

Filter usage timeline: Before use (clean filter), 1 month (becoming brownish), 2 months (dark brown), 3 months (very dark brown - rust and impurities contamination).

Generally, sediment filter replacement period is 2 to 3 months but may vary depending on water condition in your home. If you notice filter contamination or significant water pressure reduction, please check and replace with a new filter.

3rd Function - Spray Button Function!

Users can conveniently set 3 different spray water functions as needed by pressing the button located beside the head. The spray shape changes with each step, allowing easy and convenient adjustment.

1. Step 1: Concentrated strong water pressure formed through the spray outlet located centrally on the micro-hole plate.
2. Step 2: Spray outlet widens along the outer line of the micro-hole plate to create a wider and stronger water flow.
3. Step 3: Simultaneous water flow from both the center and outer line spray outlets, strong yet soft and wide.

How long does the AQUADUO filter last?

When the filter is contaminated or clogged and water pressure drops, disassemble the shower main body and handle and replace the old filter with a new one.

Is installation of AQUADUO products difficult?

The product comes preassembled with accessories that you can easily connect to the faucet. For detailed installation and replacement instructions, please refer to each product’s page on the AQUADUO website or contact customer center (1833-3808) for assistance.

Are the filters of AQUADUO products compatible with each other and with other shower filters?

Most AQUADUO shower filters with a length of 108mm are compatible and interchangeable for most public models, with some exceptions for SF-300(A), SF-900N, SF-700N, etc. Please check your model name carefully. Filters that are not from official AQUADUO are not covered by AQUADUO’s responsibility. Please use original AQUADUO filters.

Is it necessary to clean water pipes or new homes?

Older or newly constructed homes may still have old water pipes or residual rust water. Even after cleaning water pipes, impurities may still be flowing, so using a sediment filter is recommended.

After installing AQUADUO shower filter, water pressure feels too strong or weak?

The filter has a water pressure increase function, so in areas with average or higher water pressure, the pressure could feel stronger than expected. You can adjust water pressure using the faucet’s pressure control valve or use a weaker water spray setting on the shower head.

When is the shipping time?

Shipping is done at 2 p.m. on weekdays. Orders placed before 2 p.m. ship the same day and are delivered within 1 to 2 days. Shipping is not done on weekends.
