One day, my mom made a curious carrier and took me outside in it. She never used to hold me much because I was too heavy… but now I get to enjoy fresh air all the time!

While living with Bori, there were often times when weather or other conditions made it difficult to go out with just a leash. I tried using bags and strollers for outings beyond walks, but I kept wondering—wasn’t there a lighter, simpler way to take Bori along?

I wanted something that would free his little legs from being cramped inside a bag, give him a sense of security, and, above all, distribute the weight more evenly so carrying him would feel lighter.

After much thought, an idea suddenly came to me—what if I could hold Bori in the same tilted angle as when I carry him in my arms, but fixed in place like a baby sling?

I sketched out the idea myself, sewed it, and created the first prototype.

After many revisions and tests, the Coverdog Puppy Carrier was finally born.

A baby carrier for humans is designed to hold infants upright.
But if we were to hold a four-legged pet in the same vertical position, would they really feel comfortable?

The Coverdog Puppy Carrier is designed with your pet’s natural body shape in mind.
With an innovative diagonal-cut pattern, it allows your dog to be carried at the same relaxed angle as when they are in your arms.

Just like premium baby carriers, the Coverdog is crafted through the same meticulous process—
in fact, some steps are even more demanding to ensure safety and comfort.

Front

• Diagonal design keeps the body comfortably tilted.

• Place all four legs inside the openings, wrap the cover around your pet’s body, and secure with the clip buckle on the right shoulder.

Shoulder

• Cushioned with 20mm-thick padding to reduce shoulder strain.

• Adjustable size with webbing straps.

• All strap ends come with elastic bands for neat organization.

Waist

• 130mm-wide belt provides stable support around the waist.

• 38mm-wide webbing strap for extra durability and strength.

Back

• A buckle secures the shoulder pads at the back, preventing the straps from slipping and improving overall comfort.

• The position can be adjusted up or down, making it easier to fasten the buckle behind you.

The diagonal pattern tilts your pet’s body, keeping them in the same comfortable position as when held in your arms.

Neck & Back

• An inserted elastic band with an added layer of air-mesh fabric prevents pressure around the neck, enhancing comfort.

• Elastic is also built into the hip area, providing cushioning and shock absorption.

Optional Wearing Method

• Your dog can also be carried with their front paws resting on the neck pad.
  (Please take care to ensure their body does not lean forward.)

How to Wear

1. Slip the shoulder straps over both arms, fasten the back buckle first, then lower the waist belt pad into position and buckle it. (Put the carrier on yourself first.)

2. Pull the webbing straps to adjust to your body. (If too loose, the carrier will sag.)

3. Open the front cover, place your dog’s front legs through the openings first, then place the back legs.

4. Fasten the cover buckle on your shoulder, then adjust the straps again for a secure fit.

Size Guide

• Please measure the distance between your dog’s front and back legs.

• Recommended for dogs with a leg gap of 22cm or less.

Example: Bori (Bichon Frisé) has a relatively long body, with a leg gap of about 22–23cm and weighs 5.8kg. The Coverdog Carrier fit perfectly.
Even dogs over 6kg can wear it, as long as the leg gap does not exceed 22cm.

• The leg openings are designed wide enough to accommodate a variety of sizes.

Washing Instructions & Precautions

• Hand wash or use a laundry net and wash on the wool cycle.

• Do not boil or wash in hot water, as this may cause damage or deformation.

• Use a mild detergent.

• Fasten all buckles before washing to prevent damage.

• Do not use bleach.

• Avoid direct sunlight when drying; hang in the shade.

• Do not use a dryer, as padding may become misshaped.
