01 Towels feel stiff after washing

The towels feel stiff... Even if you hang them on the drying rack and let them fall naturally, there is some limit. I wonder if the stiffness might cause problems on my child's bottom later. Is this okay?

The stiffness after washing is a natural phenomenon of gauze fabric and does not cause any problems for baby's skin. In fact, wrinkles help absorption and provide cushioning for the baby's bottom. Some people like to iron the towels with a slightly spread crease, but there is no need to do so. For the first three washes, you must avoid boiled washing because it will make the stiffness worse.

02 Towels are not soft after the first wash

I bought the towels because they were said to be soft, but after the first hand wash and wringing by hand, they are not as soft as I expected. Why is that?

When manufacturing towels, the fibers and fabric are delicate and the fibers clump, so they need to go through a process of removing sizing agents that make the fabric stiff. During the first wash, you may feel stiffness because these agents have not been completely removed and remain even after drying. After 2-3 washes, the sizing agents are completely gone and the softness will be restored.

03 Purchased towels have different base colors

I bought 40 towels, but 10 of them have a different base color than the other 30. Why is that?

The original color of the yarn used for weaving the towels is usually lighter than the final product color. During the process of boiling and dyeing, some of the yellow color washes out, and depending on the boiling duration, slight color differences occur. After 2-3 washes, the colors will become almost the same.

04 The towel edges are not well finished

To prevent the towel ends from fraying, about 1 to 1.5 cm of allowance is left and finished accordingly. After washing, the threads contract tightly, preventing the ends from unraveling, so do not cut the edges.

How to Wash the Product

   Using a dryer is not recommended, but if you do, please use the “lint removal” function after naturally air-drying.
2. Can I boil after use?
   After the first 3 washes, boil gently in water for about 3-4 minutes.
