Thawing method varies depending on the type of rice used.

For rice cakes made of non-glutinous rice, natural thawing is not possible due to the characteristics of the rice.

Recommended Storage Method
Frozen Storage

All rice cakes are sent in frozen condition (ice box + ice pack) to ensure freshness as they contain no preservatives.
Some thawing may occur during delivery but this does not affect the product.
Please ensure to keep all rice cakes frozen after receipt.
Rice cakes become hard and difficult to eat if stored in the refrigerator.

How to Enjoy Frozen Rice Cake Deliciously

Rice cakes made from non-glutinous rice are not suitable for natural thawing.
Please thaw according to the instructions below.

• Remove packaging and steam rice cake for 5-10 minutes when steam rises.
• Remove frozen bag slightly, then microwave rice cake for 30-60 seconds.
• Remove packaging and warm rice cake in a pressure rice cooker.

Glutinous rice cakes should be naturally thawed 1-2 hours before eating rather than microwaving.

Frozen products have been frozen once so thawing and refreezing may cause quality changes.
