Yeopttaeng-style Tteokbokki - Stage 1 Cooking Method

  1. Add 550ml of water (3 and 2/3 paper cups based on paper cup size), 110g of level 1 powder (use a 20cc measuring spoon, about 8.5 spoons), 300g of rice cake (about 2.5 paper cups), 80g of fish cake, and 5 Viennese sausages to a pot and bring to a boil.

  2. Once it starts boiling, reduce to medium heat and simmer for 4 minutes.

  3. Add 30g of cabbage (press firmly to fill one paper cup) and 15g of green onion (half a paper cup), then reduce the heat slightly and simmer for another 4 minutes.

  4. At the last stage of cooking, add mozzarella cheese and the dish is complete.
